Week of May 1 - May 5
This week - getting down to the wire!! I know it seems a long way off, but summer will be here before we know it. Make sure you try to finish STRONG!
Math - make up any low quiz scores See me or Ms. Anzalone if you are not happy with your current grade and need to do make-ups
History - QUIZ on WWI on Wednesday 5/3
English - Many of you didn't pass in your papers. Please try to get those done ASAP. Also - for next class, do your research for your final research topic, come up with a topic and a question for research.
Biology - none
Check your ASPEN to see if you have any missing assignments - many of you do!!!

This week:
Make sure you are getting all of your work handed in and make sure you touch base with teachers if you want to make something up. Term 3 ends on March 31 - in ONE WEEK - so you don't have a lot of time to get these things done. If you are not happy with your grade and want to improve - TALK TO YOUR TEACHERS!!
I will be after school this week Tuesday and Thursday and next week as well. See me to make a plan if you still have things to make up.
English - Monster paper - due Thursday
Algebra - Factoring quadratics ("magic number") - quiz on Friday
Biology - we are still working on notes for genetics - be prepared for a quiz in the near future
History - we are still working on notes for Imperialism.
Study Skills - please use this time to get caught up, get organized, ask for help, make up missing work, etc.

English: Do your vocabulary projects (due Friday 2/3)
Also - the rough draft of the newspaper article from "the fight" scene in Romeo and Juliet
Algebra: FOIL practice quiz. QUIZ on Thursday 2/2
Biology - none at this time
Study Skills - make sure you bring your agendas to class and both your A and B day materials. Our class has changed a little this week, so hopefully it will a little less hectic and more conducive to learning.

History - make sure you are preparing for the Chapter 13 test - the test is Monday 12/5
Biology - TEST FRIDAY on the skeletal, muscular and integumentary systems
Algebra - we started systems of equations using elimination - using multiplication. I know this was a little confusing for some of you, so we will go over it in Study Skills this week
English - Develop your THESIS STATEMENT for the Animal Farm essay by class on Wednesday 11/30
I am after school on Tuesday, but can stay other days if anyone needs help. See me if you want to make arrangements to stay.
