Report cards came out on Friday. I hope everyone found their grades to be satisfactory. If not, now is the time to correct that. We are at the half-way point in the school year and if failing grades are not brought up now, it can be detrimental to a final grade at the end of the school year.
In Mrs. Francis's Algebra class this week:
We will be learning about proportion and scale drawings. These concepts (I hope) are much more simple than the previous ones (solving equations with variables on both sides). There will be no quiz this week. Friday, we will have the class set up in stations!! There will be one independent station and two teacher-led stations. Students seem to enjoy it when we complete stations, so it is a fun way to end the school week.

Monday - Study Guide 5-1 #1-6
Tuesday - Study Guide 5-1 #7-12
Wednesday - Study Guide 5-2 #1 & 2
Thursday - Study Guide 5-2 # 3-5
I will be after school this week until 3 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Please speak to me if you would like to stay after.
