I hope everyone had a terrific vacation! I know I sure did - lots of relaxing and my batteries are recharged! I hope yours are too. Progress reports are coming out in a couple weeks. Work hard!
This week....
ALGEBRA 1 (Basic) - We will be reviewing the material we went over before vacation (Chapter 5 Section 3 - percent proportions). I will give you time on Monday to finish some book work we did before vacation. This will be a 10 point class work grade. We will have a QUIZ on WEDNESDAY on sections 1-3. The rest of the week, we will go over Chapter 5 Sections 4 & 5 - percent equation and percent of change.
HOMEWORK this week:
MONDAY - Practice 5-3
WEDNESDAY - Study Guide 5-4
THURSDAY - Study Guide 5-5
STUDY SKILLS -
Make sure you come to class prepared! You have a BIG History project due on FRIDAY (Olympics project) and a SCIENCE test on WEDNESDAY. Also, your element project for Science is due on MONDAY - if it isn't done yet, please finish it as soon as you can.
Other things this week.....
Homework club is in Room 218 after school on Tuesday and Thursday.
I am after school this week on Monday and Thursday - please see me if you would like to stay with me.
Fit Club is Tuesday this week in Room 30.
