This week is going to be a little different. Sophomores are taking MCAS on Tuesday and Wednesday, so there will be no K block on Monday-Wednesday. We'll be back to a normal bell schedule Thursday and Friday. I will be proctoring MCAS on Tuesday and Wednesday, so my B Period Study Skills and C Period Algebra classes will be going to the IMC during class time.
Algebra -
You all did great on last week's quiz. We are moving on to writing equations in Slope-Intercept Form. We will go over a new packet of notes on Monday and continue to work on this new concept on Thursday and Friday. You will have HOMEWORK on Thursday, but NO QUIZ this week. When you are in the IMC on Tuesday and Wednesday, you will be working on some review sheets. Please complete and turn them in for credit. These should be easy enough to complete on your own but Mrs. Young will be there to help you, should you need it.
Study Skills -
I will not be with you on Tuesday and Wednesday. You will be having a quiz in History on Wednesday, so it is up to you to study on your own. Also, there will be a Science quiz on Thursday, so make sure you review all of the important TOCs beforehand. Stay after school with your classroom teacher if you are struggling in any class.
~Mid-quarter progress reports go home on Friday.
~Homework Club is in Room 218 after school on Tuesday and Thursday.
~I will be after school this week - see me ahead of time if you want to stay after.
~Fit Club is after school on Tuesday - we'll be doing Focus T25 - Beta Cardio.
