HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Welcome back everyone! Remember, we only have three weeks left of first semester/second term! Use whatever resources you can to get your grades where they should be. We have late busses on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as NHS students after school every day to assist you. Please take advantage of this extra help! Also, I am after school TUESDAY this week. Please make arrangements with me if you need to stay after.
BASIC ENGLISH:
This week, we will be working on quote integration and answering questions from Of Mice and Men Chapter 2. We will be learning new vocabulary words from Chapter 2. We'll be finishing up the reading of Chapter 2 and hopefully starting Chapter 3. There will be a comprehension (Ch. 2) and vocabulary (Ch. 1 & 2) quiz on Friday.
Homework - Monday - answer questions 6 & 7 using quotes from the book!
Tuesday - answer questions 10 & 11 - USE QUOTES from the book and integrate them smoothly into your answers!!

BASIC ALGEBRA:
We are continuing to work on Solving Equations with Variables on Both Sides. Please see me if you are struggling or need clarification or extra help. We will be working on this concept all week and taking a short quiz on Friday.

Tuesday - Practice 4-6 #1-10
Wednesday - Practice 4-6 #11-18
Thursday - Prepare for Friday's quiz
STUDY SKILLS:
You ALL have work to do, so make sure you are prepared and working throughout the entire period. I will be checking agendas this week, so make sure you bring them.
