I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. Only two more weeks until April Vacation. Yes, we are having it - the Panther TV was a big April Fool (if you haven't figured that out already)!! Grades close this Friday - make sure all of your work is IN!
This week:
BASIC ENGLISH:
Monday and Tuesday, we will be finishing the symbolism sheet that we began last week. We will be talking more about culpability and a person's responsibility with their own health and wellness.
We will also be preparing a written argument, discussing the guilt or innocence of either the brother (narrator) or Doodle from The Scarlet Ibis. We will be preparing these as though you were presenting your argument to a jury.
BASIC ALGEBRA:
This week, we will be solving and graphing linear equations.
Homework:
Tuesday - Study Guide 6-3
Wednesday - Practice 6-3
There will be a QUIZ on FRIDAY!
STUDY SKILLS:
As I always say, come on time, come prepared, work hard throughout the class, ask questions, get help for what you need help on and do what you are supposed to do.
