This week.......
BASIC ENGLISH:
You will be working on our 3 paragraph writing assignments for Romeo and Juliet. We'll be finishing up watching the modern version or R&J, then on Thursday, we will be starting the book To Kill a Mockingbird. You will be taking notes and learning new vocabulary words.
BASIC ALGEBRA:
We are going to take this week to review and practice more slope related concepts. Some people are still getting the hang of graphing linear equations and understanding equations in slope-intercept form. I want you all to feel very comfortable with this before we move on. No homework this week! We will have a quiz on FRIDAY.
STUDY SKILLS:
Keep up the work of taking this class seriously. I've noticed a big change since progress reports came out two weeks ago. Kudos!
I will be after school most days this week if kids need me. See me if you need extra help. Also, homework hall is in Room 218 on Tuesday. See me if you want a RED pass to the Math Lab during your directed study period on Tuesday or Thursday.
Come to Fit Club on Tuesday and Thursday in the wrestling gym after school!
