Only two more weeks until Christmas Vacation! Make sure you do your best to FOCUS on your SCHOOL WORK. This is very important.
REMINDER - There are late buses on TUESDAY and THURSDAY! Buses pick up at the school at about 4:00 so you will have plenty of time to get all of your work done. If you want to stay after with your teachers on either of these days, make arrangements with them.
BASIC ENGLISH:
This week we will be beginning Of Mice and Men. I am very excited about reading this book with you! We will be learning about the background through a power point. You will be expected to take notes. We will be starting to read the book and have a fun, creative project to work on on Friday.
BASIC ALGEBRA:
This week, we will be learning how to solve multi-step equations. We were going to begin this on Tuesday, but half of the class was out sick.
Homework:
Wednesday - Study Guide 4-5 #1-8
Thursday- Study Guide 4-5 #9-15
In class on Friday, we will be working on Practice 4-5 together and it will be graded as a quiz.
PROGRESS REPORTS come out on Friday. If yours is not satisfactory, remember, you have the rest of the term to bring up your grade and make improvements. It's definitely not too late!
