There seems to be a lot of illness floating around in my classes! Make sure you are taking proper measures to keep healthy! Eat right, get a good night's sleep, get out in the sunshine, WASH your hands and stay home if you are sick (the rest of us don't want your germs, thank you very much!).

BASIC ENGLISH:
We finished Tuesdays With Morrie and I will be asking you to write a final summary and reflection in your journal. We will finish up the week working on Daily Language Practice packets as well as a story packet that will touch on all the skills that we need to practice - comprehension, vocabulary, writing, grammar and spelling. Your memoirs will be graded and you will see them this week. They will need to stay at school in your writing folders.
BASIC ALGEBRA:
We are starting Chapter 4 Section 4 - Equations with Multiplication and Division. We will practice equations in class all week (the ones with fractions can get a little tricky). We'll do an enrichment paper together on Thursday and review for a quiz. On Friday we will take a short quiz.

STUDY SKILLS:
Remember your AGENDA and your work!!! Many of the students are forgetting to turn in work. You will have a Science Test this week and History Homework due Thursday!
I am after school TUESDAY this week and available for extra help (see me if you would like to stay another day). I have a meeting after school Wednesday so I cannot stay.
