Welcome back from April Vacation!! I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing time with your family and friends. I looked at the calendar and there are about 9.5 weeks left until we are FREE for the summer. We have LOTS to do before then.
This week.....
BASIC ENGLISH:
We will begin to read Romeo and Juliet. Prior to reading, we will be looking at a power point and fill-in-the blank notes. We will be reading a translated version which only highlights the important scenes. You will all have the chance to read aloud and play a part in the play. We will be doing some shorter writing activities (in journals) this week as well as our Daily Language Activities.
BASIC ALGEBRA:
We will be beginning Chapter 7 Section 1 (SLOPE) this week. This concept is a little tricky for some, so we will be taking it slow. On Monday and Tuesday, we will cover notes and do some practice examples in class. Thursday, we will practice some more examples and on FRIDAY there will be a short QUIZ.

Wednesday - Practice 7-1
STUDY SKILLS:
Fourth term is upon us, so it is time to buckle down and do what is expected of you! You will all have work this week. Make sure you are bringing it to class. Mrs. Cheetham and I will help you with cleaning and organizing your binders and backpacks if you need it.
I will be after school MONDAY and FRIDAY this week.
Homework club meets after school on TUESDAY in room 218.

Don't forget - FIT CLUB meets in the Wrestling Gym after school on Tuesday (Combat) and Thursday (Strength).
