Spring is definitely in the air! The flowers a blooming, the birds are singing, the weather is getting warmer.......all signs that summer is just around the corner. Remember, because of all the snow days we had throughout this dreadful winter, we will be in school MUCH LATER than in the past. We have 7.5 weeks left. We can do this! Progress reports are out this FRIDAY!
BASIC ENGLISH:
We will continue to read Romeo and Juliet. You are all doing a nice job reading and participating in class. Remember, your participation counts for a grade!! We will be working with our vocab words on Monday and Tuesday. On Thursday this week, we will have a QUIZ on vocab and comprehension. I hope we can get through the entire play this week and be able to watch the modern version on Friday.
BASIC ALGEBRA:
We are moving on to Chapter 7 Section 3 - Equations in Slope Intercept Form. Monday and Tuesday, you will be taking notes and completing practice problems in class. Wednesday, we will do some more practice from the first three sections of Chapter 7. On Thursday, you will be taking a short QUIZ on Section 3. Friday, we will break up into stations and have some fun math activities going on all around the classroom.
HOMEWORK:
Tuesday - 1/2 sheet with 6 problems on it
Wednesday - 1/2 sheet with 6 problems on it
